Taylor Swift Takes to Instagram to Announce New Single and Album

Posted August 25, 2017

Taylor Swift's new single will be the first single from Reputation and the first single she's put out since her Zayn collaboration "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" from Fifty Shades Darker.

According to a report by Variety, the 27-year-old superstar will be debuting her music video and single at this Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards.

Considering she's taking full advantage of the snake thing for this album, we have a feeling this is only the beginning of Swift speaking up.

The words from the song were: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why?"

Taylor Swift's first single off her highly-anticipated album Reputation is about to drop, and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that Kim Kardashian and hubby Kanye West are ready to wage war against the mudslinging singer.

In a way, Swift has always been associated with snakes: she was born in 1989, the year of the snake by the Chinese zodiac, and even titled her last album 1989.

Cut to this week and Taylor is also associating herself with the snake in a series of cryptic Instagram messages in promotion of her upcoming single, to be released on Friday, and her album, Reputation, coming out on November 10. Just look at the response to her tweet about a spread she did in CR Fashion Book, which is completely unrelated to her prior feud with Taylor.

The singer made the announcement in a series of Instagram images, including a possible album cover featuring a black-and-white illustration of a dead-eyed Swift, newspaper-style headlines overlapping part of her face.

She followed up her video of an unidentified creature's tail to reveal, as fans had expected, the mystery reptile was a snake.

Buzzfeed investigated the odd lack of serpents on the reality star's photographs and concluded that she must have the keyword filter on.

How will it be compared to the numerous smash hits from her previous album, the record-breaking 1989?

There were a few though, who thought the endless teasing about album news, was too much.
