Weather Authority Forecast for Tuesday, June 27

The chance of any one spot getting wet both days will be in the 45 to 55 percent range.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms, low humidity.

High pressure has been our friend all week long, promoting sunny skies, low humidity and cooler-than-average temperatures.

After some potential morning fog and pre-dawn showers, Sunday looks like a victor with mostly sunny skies. Our next weather system will bring more clouds Wednesday and scattered showers and storms Thursday. Partly cloudy, with a low around 62.

We will keep the chance of showers and thunderstorms in the forecast all the way through the weekend.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy, humid, chance for a few showers and thunderstorms.

Friday: Sunshine, mixing with afternoon clouds, hot and humid, with the chance for a late day thunderstorm.

"Scattered thunderstorms are expected midday through early evening", the weather service said. Though those storms weaken, they may leave an outflow boundary that will trigger additional storms for Saturday afternoon.

Storm chances will return late Sunday night and and again Monday night.

Sunday: Partly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 82. Dark clouds south of Brainerd Friday afternoon were indicators of the storm system hitting the St. Cloud area.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mostly sunny, high near 84.

Wednesday. A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Winds will be west around 5 miles per hour. Highs will likely climb into the low to even mid 90s for some.

Saturday: Patchy drizzle before 11 a, m. Some showers and thunderstorms could linger through 2 a.m. and some could produce heavy rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 86.

"Thunderstorms are possible on Saturday night", the weather service reported. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72 degrees.

The chances will be higher for severe weather in Central New York.
