Hate speech stabbing suspect has repeated outbursts in court

The details are gory, but when the men intervened, Christian was shown on video to have stabbed them in the neck. Best and Namkai-Meche were killed; Fletcher is now recovering from a large stab wound in his neck.

Christian then pushes Best into Meche, who was trying to staunch the bleeding while in a seat. He was behind bars again in 2013 for violating a condition of his release, according to court records.

Chase Robinson, a passenger on the train, thought a fistfight had broken out and tried to break it up.

"I'm healing", Fletcher told the station.

Christian got off the train at the Hollywood Transit Center, threatened several people on the platform, and left the area.

Christian was waving his knife when he got off the train, Robinson told KATU. Police arrested him several blocks away.
