The cast includes genre staples Stephen Moyer (True Blood) and Amy Acker (Person of Interest), along with Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Coby Bell, Emma Dumont, Blair Redford, Natalie Alyn Lind and Percy Hynes White. Most of the show's secrets are still being kept under wraps, though, it has been revealed that "The Gifted" focuses on a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. With the announcement also came the confirmation that the show has been titled The Gifted, which was at first the working title.

Director Bryan Singer is known for directing several of the X-Men films, and we can expect the same style of TV show with The Gifted.

Fox and Marvel are officially moving forward on the dramatic series, The Gifted, showing off a short teaser trailer before launching the full trailer on May 15, 2017.
