Apple to replace iPad 4th gen with iPad Air 2

Posted April 20, 2017

Reports are coming in that Apple is replacing a broken "iPad 4" with an "iPad Air 2" for the price of only the service fix. The price is $200 from the Apple Store pricing. For that reason, users may receive a slight upgrade in storage when getting a replacement in addition to the device's newer and more powerful internals overall. It's likely that a small part replacement will be carried out by the company easily, but if the damage is more than beyond control, then only expect an iPad Air 2. Now that supplies of the fourth generation are dwindling, Apple has apparently freed its employees to substitute an iPad that's two generations newer.
